The Lost Story
Like most great ideas, Lost Magazine was born at the pub. Lost founders, Carmen Gostelow, Mark Tilly and Kira Carlin, were studying journalism and listed their interests as thinking about journalism, talking about journalism and drinking overpriced, West Australian cider.
They felt media, particularly magazines lacked something. There was nothing out there which took on global ideas and good news topics and also felt great in your hand. They decided to start their own
Carmen has since moved on to an international teaching career, and Mark now works as a newspaper journalist in Cambodia, leaving Kira to manage Lost as editor-in-chief. The team has grown to include fabulous, talented writers, photographers, designers and artists.
